The 139th annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show was held at Madison Square Garden on February 16-17, 2015. The event featured 192 dog breeds and drew nearly 3,000 global competitors.
Miss P, a 15-inch beagle, handled by William Alexander, won “Best in Show” on Tuesday night.

Every year over 2,500 dogs compete in one of the most prestigious dog shows in the world, The Westminster Dog Show. The show was first held in 1877 and is the second-longest continuously held sporting event in the U.S., second only to the Kentucky Derby.
This year’s contest runs February 16-17 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
