Seventeen divers from 11 countries competed in two days of competition at the Red Bull Qualifier Cliff Diving World Series 2015 in Piscinas Panamericanas, Cali, Colombia. Five divers, Jonathan Paredes of Mexico, Jucelino Junior of Brazil, Andy Jones of the USA, Blake Aldridge of the UK and Michal Navratil of the Czech Republic qualified and will join the five pre-qualified World Series divers from last year in the 2015 season.

Two wins and guaranteed advancing would have been nice, of course.
But every Team USA fan would have taken four points from the Ghana and Portugal matches with a chance to advance against Germany, and the main consequence of the United States’ last-second draw with Portugal on Sunday is that this is going to be a wild few hours of soccer that all Americans wish could have been avoided.
Heavy rains in Recife, Brazil, the location of today’s World Cup match between the U.S. and Germany, has caused extensive flooding, turning roads into rivers and making access to the stadium difficult. But FIFA says the U.S. game will be played as scheduled at noon ET.
