Lab-grown beef burger makes its debut in London

Is there a food revolution in the works? Scientists unveiled the world’s first lab-grown beef burger in London on Monday, frying it in a little oil and butter and serving it to taste tasters. The meat was created by knitting together some 20,000 strands of protein that was cultured from cattle stem cells in the lab of Dutch scientist Mark Post, a vascular biologist at Maastricht University.
