Every week in the year has good history in it somewhere, if you go back far enough. The week of July 12-18 has seen many significant moments in history, including Billy the Kid, The Rolling Stones, Disneyland and more.
This Sunday with be the 87th Academy Awards better known as the Oscars. The awards are presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and are voted on by their members. Through the years there have been many memorable moments on Oscar night as represented by these images.
Armed with my camera, a handful of lenses and a rental car, my girlfriend and I made our way up the coast, spending a few days in each city to take them in. And for our cameras to take them in as well.
