Prisoners participate in the opening ceremony of their own version of the 2014 World Cup at the Castro-Castro prison in Lima. According to a press release from the prison, about 300 inmates at the Castro-Castro penitentiary are participating in the two-week tournament, which is being held in order to encourage the adoption of sports within the prison population.
