Campus Party, an annual technology festival, takes place in Sao-Paulo, Brazil from January 27th to February 2nd this year. About 160,000 people are expected to attend the event including hackers, gamers, and people who simply enjoy computers.

The first snow storm of 2014 hit not only Maryland, but much of New England, the Midwest and the Atlantic Coast, with some regions receiving as much as two feet of snow. The ceiling of London’s Apollo Theatre collapsed during a performance of “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.” Hundreds of people were attending the play at the West End theatre. No life threatening injuries occurred but many people were taken to the hospital.
