The New York City Comic Con convention continued as thousands of costumed fans poured into the Jacob Javits Center again today. The four day event which runs October 9-12 is the largest pop culture event on the East Coast. [Warning: Contains some nudity]

Whether Ken is covering a candlelight vigil for a fallen police officer or the President getting “chest bumped” at the USNA graduation or Ray Lewis showing his gratitude to the fans at his last home game in Baltimore, he will get a picture that tells a story. Ken is a great sports photographer, having covered a number of different sporting events. He was a key member of The Sun’s Super Bowl photo coverage team and is currently working the Orioles’ playoff run.

More than 1,200 men and women reported to the United States Naval Academy as the Class of 2018 started their summer of indoctrination. The incoming plebes (freshman) go through the induction process where they have their hair trimmed, uniforms issued, medical exams and begin to learn the basics of being in the Navy. The last step is when the young men and women take part in the Oath of Office ceremony at the end of the day.
The Firefly Music Festival is a four day premier music experience set among lush wooded landscapes, featuring renowned headliners such as the Foo Fights, Outkast, Imagine Dragons, Beck, the Lumineers and Jack Johnson. It also has many emerging artists. In addition to adding a fourth day in 2014, topping 100-plus acts booked this year, Firefly has also expanded its wooded site from 87 to 154 acres to accommodate more fans.
