Harvey sends devastating floods pouring into Houston
Hurricane Harvey left a trail of devastation Saturday after the most powerful storm to hit the US mainland in over a decade slammed into Texas, destroying homes, severing power supplies and forcing tens of thousands of residents to flee. The remnants of Hurricane Harvey, which has lingered as a tropical storm, sent devastating floods pouring into Houston on Sunday as rising water chased thousands of people to rooftops or higher ground.
