50 years ago, riots in Cambridge
An address by civil rights activist H. Rap Brown in the Eastern Shore city of Cambridge on June 24, 1967, led to clashes with police. Brown was shot in the face with buckshot, and rioters burned down 17 buildings, including a school and businesses, in the black side of the city.
