The USA Warriors ice hockey team
The USA Warrior Ice Hockey program was founded as a non-profit. Their mission, according to their website, is to organize and administer an ice hockey program in conjunction with the USA Hockey Disabled Hockey Program, to provide recreational, therapeutic experience and education for veterans wounded in defense of the country. The teams, consisting of the standing Warriors and the sled Warriors, practice in Rockville, MD. Recently the USA Warriors standing team played against the APG-Blast in a charity ice hockey game to raise money for the St. Elizabeth School for Special Needs students located in Baltimore City.
