Carol Ott, Baltimore Street Photographer
Carol Ott started her Baltimore Slumlord Watch blog in 2009, “as a way for city residents to discuss and share information on Baltimore’s many slumlords,” her website states. And since both of her parents had a background in photography, it was a natural part of the project. So armed with her Canon 20D, Ott uses photos to capture the blight in many of Baltimore’s neighborhoods, which was the best way she could see to shine a light the issue.
Take a look at the next installment in our series, Baltimore Street Photographer.
Ott shared more than 60 photos, and you can read more about her work at her websites, Baltimore Slumlord Watch and Housing Policy Watch. If you’re a Baltimore Street Photographer and are interested in being featured in this series, contact Jon Sham at jsham@baltsun.com.

Hi Carol,
I just want to say that I love your photos and also wanted to share my album. I really enjoy street photography and taking photos of animals, especially dogs.
