Five homeless people have died since Saturday in France, alleged victims of the cold wave, a “terrible litany” according to the Abbe Pierre Foundation, which reopens the debate on the “poor housing” in the country. According to the INSEE national statistics office, the number of homeless has increased by 44% in France in 11 years.
