Americans head to the polls on Election Day
With possible Republican control in the Senate, heated gubernatorial contests and marijuana legalization on the ballot in Oregon, Alaska, and D.C., Americans head to the polls. Republicans are poised to capture control of the Senate for the first time in eight years, and tossup contest in New Hampshire and North Carolina might be early indicators of whether they will succeed.
