2014 FIFA World Cup: Nigeria wins tight finish, Ghana and Germany tie, Messi overage score gives Argentina win over Iran
The Nigerian team made a single goal last for a win over Bosnia and Herzegovina, who fails to advance in their first World Cup. In a surprise that might help the United States, Ghana and Germany played to a 2-2 tie. The day’s opener saw Lionel Messi score in overage time to give Argentina the 1-0 victory over Iran.
