Russian paratroopers attack gay rights activist during one-man protest
While holding a one-man protest against LGBT rights violations in Russia, activist Krill Kalugin was attacked by a group of Russian paratroopers in St. Petersburg today. The paratroopers were celebrating Russia’s Paratroopers day, which honors military servicemen.
According to Animal New York’s translation of a video of the attack, paratroopers approached the man and began pushing him around after saying they did “not agree with” his actions.
