Maryland’s Ocean City wakes up to Sandy damage
During Superstorm Sandy, Ocean City, Md. was one of the worst hit communities in the state. Sun photographer Karl Merton Ferron captured startling images from the seaside resort town. Emergency workers responded to 231 calls for help Monday and moved about 50 residents who had ignored a mandatory evacuation. About 100 feet of the Ocean City Fishing Pier was wiped out. Crews are assessing the damage today.

This dust can enter the house with the air and cause illness and aggravate any
dust related allergies. Household products such as vegetable oil
and castile soap can be combined with vinegar to clean wood decks naturally as well.
Leaks in your roof or around windows, plumbing problems and
even cracks and crevices in the walls allow moisture to seep
into your home’s structure.

Hi, hope that your city can be rebuilt, especially since your state is just under the total damage amount for federal aid. Two great fishing piers, at Ocean City and Cape Henlopen have been seriously damaged. Luckily the pier at Woodland Beach, DE is still intact.
I have been pushing for attention from the federal government on the “other” states affected by Sandy. However, president Obama does not seem to consider them part of the 57 states under his leadership.
Please help me in focusing media attention on the smaller states which also need economic help in recovering.

Ocean City will be holiday heaven again. I had a great time working in the Sheraton on 101st street and parting all over town back in 1996. A great place. Best of Irish Luck to you all.
