Ann Romney, Chris Christie and Rick Santorum energize Day 2 of the Republican National Convention
With newly upgraded Hurricane Isaac blowing past Florida, the Republican National Convention surges on with speeches by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, former GOP presidential race contender Rick Santorum, and Ann Romney, the wife of the now affirmed GOP presidential nominee. The abbreviated convention schedule may have dampened the opening day, but with Mitt Romney’s arrival, Day 2 finds the winds of the Grand Old Party struggling to hold onto the many hats of a divided Republican base.
