Lyon, France residents and tourists celebrated a scaled-down version of the Festival of Lights, an annual celebration for more than 150 years.

The municipality canceled the event in light of the Paris attacks in November. Those who attended the unofficial festival this year dedicated the event to the victims of the attacks.
