Across the globe, St. Patrick’s Day 2016 was a pageant of revelry, faith and activism. In Dublin, crowds filled the streets for a glimpse of large, colorful floats. More recently, the women of Liberal, Kansas, got in on the fun, challenging Olney to a friendly international competition after seeing media coverage about the event.

At the three-day ‘British Homing World Show of the Year,’ homing pigeon fanciers from across Europe gather to find the Supreme Show Champion with judges casting their eyes over hundreds of birds on display. The Royal Pigeon Racing Association organises the event at The Winter Gardens in Blackpool, England.
