Elspeth Reeve from The Atlantic provided a gif guide to “how the U.S. Team crushed the Russians,” meanwhile Buzzfeed highlighted the “most absurd moments of the Olympic Opening Ceremony” and Mashable presented “the most painful moments of the Olympics” via gifs.
