The annual Towsontown Spring Festival was held over the weekend in downtown Towson, and the Baltimore Sun Media Group had photographers there on both days. One of the artists at the festival was also featured in a Towson Times video, which can be seen below.

Mount de Sales senior lacrosse player Allie Hynson missed playing in her sophomore and junior years due to two consecutive ACL tears on the same knee. Now that she’s healed, she’s back on the field and finishing out her high school career with her friends and teammates.
The Baltimore Lutheran girls lacrosse team, which struggled last season and earned only a 1-9 record, has seen major improvements this year under the team’s new coach, former pro John Tucker.
Players say Coach Tucker, a former professional lacrosse player and coach for several Major League Lacrosse and National Lacrosse League teams, has stressed fundamentals to put the team back in winning form.
In his pale gray waistcoat, charcoal corduroys, and crisp white dress shirt buttoned to the neck, a burgundy ribbon tied around the collar, Amadeus Guchhait looks like he’s from another era.
So does his art.
Guchhait, a junior at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and an Ellicott City native, has spent the semester creating a collection of clothing that unites disparate time periods and cultures as a commentary on western notions of identity and cultural appropriation. Read more here
